# Chelsea: Fans laud N’Golo Kante after his admission over move to Paris Saint Germain

**Chelsea fans were professing their love for N’Golo Kante after he made some comments over a failed move to Ligue 1 side Paris Saint Germain.**

The France international admitted that he rejected a move to the French club, who were interested in the defensive midfielder following his World Cup success [(via The Sun)](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/10415916/ngolo-kante-rejected-psg-happy-chelsea/).

Kante said that he ‘believed’ in the project at the Premier League club and that he felt ‘good’ with both the club and in London [(Canal Plus via The Sun)](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/10415916/ngolo-kante-rejected-psg-happy-chelsea/).

Following his league title success with Leicester City in 2016, the 28-year-old moved to Stamford Bridge for a fee believed to be just £30m [(via BBC)](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36806454).

He has proved a successful signing, winning three major trophies, including the league title in his very first season [(via Transfermarkt)](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ngolo-kante/erfolge/spieler/225083).

Fans were full of praise for the midfielder as they took to Twitter to react. Here is a selection of tweets from the Stamford Bridge faithful:

> i love kantè. he can literally go and join another top team that aren’t under a transfer ban if he wanted to but he’s still happy at chelsea 🙂

> Ngolo should stay no matter what. The board should do everything to keep him. He’s a model professional, humble and destructive midfield general.\
> Our young players will learn so much from him. Also I want Ngolo to leave Chelsea if at all with more trophies.
