# Chelsea: Fans left excited after comments from Samuel Chukwueze

**Chelsea fans have been left excited after comments from Samuel Chukwueze on a potential move to Stamford Bridge.**

Chukwueze has enjoyed a standout career with the Spanish side since making the move from the Diamond Academy, scoring 11 goals and assisting a further five in 52 appearances [(via Transfermarkt)](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/samu-chukwueze/leistungsdaten/spieler/401922).

However, the west London giants aren’t the only club seemingly interested in the 20-year-old with Premier League rivals Liverpool having also been linked with a move for the winger [(via Goal)](https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/chukwueze-in-sturridge-out-liverpools-transfer-plans-this/mdta644si0e51rfqm0zpsha83).

Former Reds man Alberto Moreno sung the praises of his teammate, claiming he reminded him of Sadio Mane [(via Marca)](https://www.marca.com/en/football/spanish-football/2019/10/22/5daf1cb446163fe13a8b463a.html).

Fans were left feeling joyous after the comments from Chukwueze as they took to Twitter to react, with some dubbing him as the successor to Arjen Robben.

Here is a selection of tweets from the west London faithful:

> That’s fantastic news. I would assume it’s a ploy to get on our radar seeing as to how we’re in dire need of a right winger. He’s a top prospect, hope we at least make an effort for him this summer.

> This shows that he’s interested in joining. No player is going to say I’d leave my club for them if they offered 😂. Still unsure about him tbh but we need a left footed attacker and he could be crucial
