# Chelsea: Fans like the sound of summer move for Hakim Ziyech

**Some Chelsea fans are liking the sound of Ajax’s Hakim Ziyech joining the club in the summer.**

According to [ESPN](https://www.espn.co.uk/football/soccer-transfers/story/4042019/chelsea-want-to-sign-ajaxs-ziyech-leicesters-chilwell-this-summer-sources), the Blues have identified the attacking midfielder as a priority target for the next transfer window. Leicester City’s Ben Chilwell is also said to be high on their list ahead of a potential rebuild at Stamford Bridge.

It is Ziyech’s name, though, that is getting supporters excited — and it is not hard to see why. The 26-year-old has already managed to conjure up 12 league assists this season to go with his six goals. That is eight more than what Willian and Callum Hudson-Odoi have managed, with the duo currently leading the Chelsea squad in that department.

Ziyech has also been making [2.7](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/115868/Show/Hakim-Ziyech) dribbles per league game (via WhoScored), more than [any other Chelsea player](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/15/Show/England-Chelsea), showing the sort of attacking threat he could bring to west London.
