# Chelsea: Fans loved image of Christian Pulisic and Billy Gilmour

**Since arriving at the club in the summer, Frank Lampard has been unafraid of giving Chelsea’s youth the opportunity to impress in the first-team, and a photo of two of the club’s latest exciting talents has got some fans singing their praises and looking to the future.**

Signed from Borussia Dortmund for a [£58m](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46734487) (per BBC Sport) fee, Christian Pulisic opened his account for the Blues in spectacular style on Saturday, scoring a perfect hat-trick against Burnley.

Although the USA international represents a marquee signing from the west London side, his teammate Billy Gilmour is a youth academy prospect who Lampard has afforded opportunities to so far this season, but the photo released of the duo in training has excited some of the club’s fanbase to say the very least.

Lampard’s backing of youth can be expected to continue in the 2019/20 campaign, and these Chelsea fans will certainly be hoping to see a link-up on the field between Pulisic and Gilmour after this photo was released by the club. Here are some of the best reactions to the photo from Chelsea’s training ground at Cobham.
