# Chelsea fans react to Maurizio Sarri’s Manager of the Month nomination

**On Friday morning, it was announced that Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has been nominated for October’s Premier League Manager of the Month award.**

During last month with Sarri at the helm, the Blues played three times in the league, winning twice away at Southampton and Burnley as well as snatching a last-minute draw at home to Manchester United, thus preserving their mightily impressive unbeaten start to the new Premier League campaign.

It is not just the results though that Sarri has helped his side get that warrant his nomination, but he has also been getting the best out of his players with Ross Barkley, Eden Hazard, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Alvaro Morata all especially thriving last month – the former has been nominated for the Player of the Month award.

Unsurprisingly, this recent announcement has stimulated quite a reaction from several Chelsea fans on Twitter, with many of them backing the nomination, and thus hoping that their man gets the gong…
