# Chelsea: Fans rejoice over news of Christian Pulisic return after winter break

**Plenty of Chelsea fans are over the moon with the news that Christian Pulisic is expected to be back in first-team action for the Blues after the club’s winter break.**

[AS report](https://en.as.com/en/2020/02/02/football/1580608547_213627.html) that the 34-capped American international ([per Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/christian-pulisic/nationalmannschaft/spieler/315779)) is due to return to the pitch after missing most of 2020 due to a muscle injury as stats from [Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/christian-pulisic/leistungsdaten/spieler/315779) show. Chelsea have seemingly missed the attacker’s influence over the past few games with Frank Lampard’s side only winning just one Premier League game since the turn of the year ([per BBC Sport](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/scores-fixtures/2020-02?filter=results)).

As stats from [Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/chelsea-fc/leistungsdaten/verein/631/reldata/%262019/plus/1) show, the 21-year-old winger has been one of Chelsea’s most productive players this season, with Pulisic scoring and assisting six goals in all competitions this campaign, a tally that is only bettered in the squad by Tammy Abraham.

Pulisic’s impact has been a massive miss for Chelsea over the past month, and plenty of supporters on social media were buzzing to hear the news about the American’s impending return to first-team football. Chelsea’s next Premier League game is in two weeks time against Manchester United.

Here’s what Chelsea fans had to say about Pulisic’s return to the first-team…
