# Chelsea: Plenty of fans want West Ham to sign Ross Barkley amid transfer rumours

**Ross Barkley hasn’t had the Chelsea career he’d have liked so far, with him failing to tie down a regular place in the starting 11, no matter who the manager has been. Since moving from his boyhood club Everton in 2018, the 26-year-old has played [63 games for the club in all competitions](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ross-barkley/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/131978), and this season he’s made just [seven Premier League appearances.](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/92547/Show/Ross-Barkley)**

[WhoScored](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/15/Show/England-Chelsea) has rated his season so far at 6.84/10, and that’s lower than the likes of Jorginho (6.95/10), N’Golo Kante (7.04/10), Mateo Kovacic (6.99/10) and Christian Pulisic (7.08/10). That perhaps signifies why he’s further down the pecking order than he’d like.

[The Mirror](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/west-ham-eye-ross-barkley-21288579) has reported that David Moyes is keen to bring the Englishman to West Ham on loan, and when Chelsea fan account [The Blues](https://twitter.com/TheBlues___) posted the report on Twitter, many fans welcomed a move. Some were happy to see him loaned out and some wanted him gone for good, but it’s clear plenty of supporters would rather he left.
