Chelsea continue their mission to secure Champions League football as they prepare to take on Sheffield United.
The Blades will host Frank Lampard’s side in what could be a very cagey affair, with both teams fighting for something as the season draws to a close. Chelsea have leapfrogged into third place with a tally of 60 points, inching closer to cementing their top four finish.
The official club Instagram has posted a video of Tammy Abraham’s opening goal against Sheffield United earlier this season. The reverse fixture ended 2-2 so Lampard will be hoping to grab all three points on the road this time.
Who should start against Sheffield United?
Abraham was absent from the squad for three matches due to an ankle injury which saw Olivier Giroud replace him up front. Since the restart, the Frenchman has scored three goals in five appearances and could see out the rest of the season as Lampard’s first choice.
However, Abraham came on as substitute against Crystal Palace and netted the winning goal, so the £36million-valued striker could find himself back in the starting XI on Saturday.
If the responses to the Instagram post are anything to go by, it would seem that the fans are split on whether he should get the nod, or whether Lampard should continue with the Frenchman. It is certainly a nice headache for him to have.
