Chelsea: 12 clubs queue up to sign Blues rising star Conor Gallagher - Chelsea Transfer Rumours

Chelsea youngster Conor Gallagher has attracted an enormous amount of attention following a successful loan spell in the Championship.

The 20-year-old has a total of 12 clubs eyeing up his services this summer, as reported by Football.London. His influence in midfield for loan clubs Charlton and Swansea in 2019/20 has clearly turned plenty of heads.

Does Conor Gallagher have a future with Chelsea?

The report claimed that Premier League sides Southampton and Crystal Palace, along with newly-promoted Leeds and Fulham, are hoping to make a move for Gallagher. However, another loan spell seems to be the most likely option rather than a permanent move away from Stamford Bridge.

The England youth international racked up an impressive six goals and 11 assists this campaign in the second tier (via Transfermarkt). He could arguably become an important asset to the Chelsea senior squad but it seems that Frank Lampard would like him to gain some more experience first.

A Premier League destination is the preferred option, with the Blues wanting him to feature for a team with a similar playing style to Chelsea.

Gerrard made more appearances for Liverpool than Lampard did for Chelsea, true or false?

Gallagher’s influence on Swansea’s progress into the Championship play-offs has made him a hot prospect for the transfer window. The Blues aren’t short of options for him, but are adamant that he isn’t available for a permanent deal – a wise stance given the huge level of interest from other Premier League clubs in acquiring his services.
