One of them is playing tonight, with Blues midfielder Ramires more than likely to line-up for Brazil against Croatia.

But he may not be a Chelsea representative for much longer if Real Madrid keep up the hunt for his signature, with Chelsea said to be entertaining the idea of a swap deal involving Luka Modric.

According to [The Daily Express](https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/481769/Mou-wants-Modric-Chelsea-line-up-SHOCK-Ramires-swap-deal-as-Fabregas-alternative), Jose Mourinho will take full advantage of Real Madrid’s pursuit of Ramires.

Carlo Ancelotti wants to bring Ramires to La Liga having built up a great working relationship with the Brazilian whilst in charge at Stamford Bridge.

However up until now Chelsea haven’t been willing to negotiate any prospective sale of the 27-year-old.

But it now seems that the West London club are prepared to send Ramires and £10 million to Spain in return for Luka Modric.

Mourinho has been a long-term fan of the Croatian and it’s understood this would be the only way that Ramires would leave the Blues.

### Chelsea fans: What’s all this hype regarding Ramires? He’s just another bog standard squad player, isn’t he? Let us know your thoughts below.
