Chelsea’s start to the 2025/26 season has been a rollercoaster.
After going unbeaten in their first four matches — albeit with two draws — the Blues have hit a rough patch, suffering three defeats in four games across all competitions.
A heavy loss to Bayern Munich in the Champions League and back-to-back Premier League defeats to Manchester United and Brighton, both marred by red cards, have overshadowed a narrow EFL Cup win over Lincoln City.
Amid the turbulence, manager Enzo Maresca is reportedly already looking to bolster his squad with fresh talent.

According to BolaVip, Chelsea are among a number of clubs tracking the progress of Vasco da Gama forward Rayan, alongside Brighton.
The 18-year-old has been one of the standout performers in Brazil during the 2025 campaign, cementing a starting spot under coach Fernando Diniz and earning a reputation as one of the club’s brightest prospects.
Described as “special” by Diniz, Rayan has already made 83 appearances across all competitions, contributing 15 goals and two assists. His rise has put him on the radar of multiple European teams, including Tottenham, who have reportedly also shown interest.
Chelsea’s recent success with Brazilian youngsters, such as Estevão, has highlighted the club’s ability to develop promising talent.
While Rayan could potentially join the ranks, the Blues currently face more immediate challenges and may prioritize experience over long-term prospects in the short term.
