[According to *The Daily Star,*](https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/471325/Arsenal-leading-Chelsea-and-Spurs-in-race-for-Spanish-ace-as-eight-scouts-sent-to-watch)Chelsea have sent scouts to watch Arsenal target Nolito in action for Celta Vigo; as the West London side [prepare to join the hunt for the Spaniard, along with Tottenham Hotspur.](https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/471325/Arsenal-leading-Chelsea-and-Spurs-in-race-for-Spanish-ace-as-eight-scouts-sent-to-watch)

Nolito has been in fine form this season after aiding Celta’s terrific start to the campaign, scoring six goals and grabbing three assists in his eight games this term; which has helped put Celta at the top of the table, level on points with Barcelona and Real Madrid.

[Catalan giants Barcelona are tipped as the favourites for the recently-capped 29-year-old](https://metro.co.uk/2015/10/23/chelsea-scout-arsenal-transfer-target-nolito-after-fine-celta-vigo-form-report-5457589/) but the player has stated he will not leave in January, [making interested parties wait until the end of the current season.](https://www.fourfourtwo.com/news/nolito-rules-out-january-move-celta)

Arsenal fans are furious that their London rivals have joined the pursuit for the talented forward, who can play centrally or out-wide, and are praying that Arsene Wenger wins the race for Nolito’s signature.
