There is drama here in the Football Transfer Tavern courtesy of [The Sun](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4972215/David-Luiz-open-to-PSG-switch.html) who claim that one of Chelsea’s best players of last season is open to a move to Ligue 1 this summer.

This summer it seems that Paris Saint-Germain have all but been forgotten about given the money fellow French side Monaco are spending and the fact that they have bought a host of players including Radamel Falcao, but the Parc Des Princes-based outfit have planted themselves firmly back on our radar with the news that David Luiz would welcome a move to Paris.

The former Benfica defender has also been linked with a move to La Liga with Spanish champions Barcelona, yet now it seems the player would consider making a move to France. He noted: “I’m talking a lot about PSG and its project with Brazilian players.

“The club made a good job in Ligue 1, and there have a very good players like Lucas Moura, Thiago Motta, Maxwell, Thiago Silva.

“And I don’t speak about it with others, just Brazilians.”

Luiz of course has been constantly linked with a move away from the club since Mourinho took over and it seems that now it could well come to pass.
