# Club ready to sell experienced defender to Liverpool for cut-price fee

![Ignacio Camacho](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Ignacio-Camacho-500x281.jpg)Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern are sniffing out a bargain by purchasing the ale we have on sale and it seems their club is looking to do similar.

[*The Daily Mirror*](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-target-ignacio-camacho-could-7435187)[states](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-target-ignacio-camacho-could-7435187) Malaga defender Ignacio Camacho remains a target for the Reds, with Jurgen Klopp looking to bolster his line further despite already capturing Joel Matip on a free transfer.

Camacho has 148 appearances for Spanish outfit Malaga and has knocked-up a wealth of experience playing against some of the biggest names in world football- and [Liverpool can secure his signature for just £4m.](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-target-ignacio-camacho-could-7435187)

The 25-year-old is likely to be offloaded this summer due to Malaga’s financial struggles, with the Spanish side ready to accept a cut-price on the defender’s £8m release clause.

With regular football during his dive years at Malaga, Camacho has developed into a quality defender who could do wonders for Liverpool’s back-line; which has been extremely leaky throughout this season.

Our landlord feels this is an absolute bargain and has urged Liverpool to get a deal done quickly, before other sides start to drive the price up.
