# Concern for Liverpool as Juventus target fuels transfer talk

**The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern are worried about Emre Can’s contract situation.**

The midfielder’s contract expires this summer, meaning that he would be allowed to talk to other clubs to arrange a Bosman transfer at the end of the season.

Jurgen Klopp is calm about the situation and hopes that Can will sign a new deal with Liverpool but latest reports could be of some concern to Liverpool fans.

Serie A champions Juventus reportedly want Can to join them and it appears that the player is interested in the move.

[Emre Can told Kicker](https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/liverpool-transfer-news-emre-can-new-contract-latest-juventus-honour-a8012521.html):

“It’s always an honour to receive an offer from such a renowned club, but currently I am only focused on the season with Liverpool.

“My agent takes care of the rest.”
