# Liverpool: Fans in hysterics at Coutinho to Everton rumour

**Liverpool have been able to look down on Everton for quite a while now.**

The Toffees have not won a trophy since the FA Cup in 1995, whilst the Reds last piece of silverware came less than 12 months ago as they lifted the biggest trophy of the lot – the Champions League. Not only that, the Anfield outfit are a huge [45](https://www.skysports.com/premier-league-table) points above their city rivals in the Premier League – Everton could double their points tally and still be eight behind.

Now, it seems the fans are enjoying a transfer rumour from the Goodison Park club. It has been reported that Carlo Ancelotti’s men are [interested](https://www.sport.es/en/news/barca/barcelona-and-chelsea-discussing-loan-deal-for-philippe-coutinho-7920978) in signing Philippe Coutinho on loan, a player who left Liverpool in January 2018 for Barcelona.

The European champions’ supporters can’t contain themselves. They have been reacting to the rumour in their droves on Twitter, with most suggesting that there is no chance that the Brazilian would join the Toffees. You can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below.
