Coventry City are battling it out with Championship side Leeds United to sign French defender Samuel Yohou, according to a latest report.
Promotion to the Championship for the Sky Blues this season will hand manager Mark Robins an opportunistic summer transfer window, where he will undoubtedly seek to develop a squad capable of staying in England’s second tier.
Le10 Sport via Coventry LIVE now report that the defender has also gained interest from Leeds, with Marcelo Bielsa keen to bolster his defensive options as loanee Ben White looks set to return to parent club Brighton and Hove Albion.
It is great to see Coventry joining the likes of Leeds with interest in a player, but the lack of experience and first team football for Yohou could prove questionable as the Sky Blues look to take on the challenge of the Championship next term.
Yohou could be a good addition, but only time will tell if Robins is able to complete a deal and hand him a chance.
