Coventry City manager Mark Robins is still interested in bringing both Julien Dacosta and Samuel Yohou to the club this summer.
The Sky Blues boss will look to the summer transfer window to bolster his squad options ahead of their return to the Championship next season.
Hamer, who will arrive next week to undergo a medical, is expected to join on a permanent deal from PEC Zwolle, whilst O’Hare has left Premier League side Aston Villa and is available on a free transfer.
Also linked with a move to Coventry are French duo Dacosta and Yohou, with Coventry Telegraph claiming that the Championship club are still interested on making a move for both players.
RMC Sport via Get French Football News first reported news of Coventry’s interest in Dacosta, who will see his contract expire at the end of this month with Ligue 2 side FC Chamois Niort. The 24-year-old, who was born in Marseille and once represented the Ligue 1 side’s academy setup, featured throughout for Niort, making 22 appearances during the 2019/20 season.
Robins is starting to prepare for next season in good time and you have to say that, whilst some of his targets aren’t particularly well known, they could turn out to be excellent coups by the club.
The impending arrivals of Hamer and O’Hare will greatly add to Coventry’s midfield options for next season and, if they can clinch deals for Dacosta and Yohou, it would represent a fine start to their summer transfer business.
Gustavo Hamer and Callum O’Hare’s pending arrival’s are really important to the middle of the park for the Sky Blues next term, and anything following that will be great news for Robins.
