# Coventry City: Transfer target Jonathan Panzo posts cryptic Instagram update

**Coventry transfer target Jonathan Panzo has [briefly touched](https://www.instagram.com/p/CEUl9EoJBf3/embed/) his future after being linked to a number of clubs this summer.**

The defender, valued at £2.4m by [Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jonathan-panzo/profil/spieler/392777), has gained interest from a number of clubs this summer after returning to parent club AS Monaco from his season-long loan with Belgian side Cercle Brugge.

Mark Robins’ Coventry have already made a number of [signings](https://www.transfermarkt.dk/coventry-city/alletransfers/verein/990) this summer and Panzo is another player who is reportedly on the club’s radar.

Aside from the Sky Blues’ interest, there were reports that the 19-year-old had agreed terms with Ligue 1 side [Dijon](https://www.coventrytelegraph.net/sport/football/transfer-news/coventry-city-linked-monaco-starlet-18781274), whilst [reported interest from Derby](https://www.derbytelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/derby-county-transfer-jonathan-panzo-4449468) has also emerged.

With speculation mounting at a rapid pace, Panzo has now hinted that a move could be set to be announced.

Taking to his [personal Instagram account](https://www.instagram.com/p/CEUl9EoJBf3/?utm_source=ig_embed&utm_campaign=loading), the young defender was seen boarding a plane in an image that he posted, with the accompanying caption saying that he was going to “miss this place”.

[Derbyshire Live](https://www.derbytelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/derby-county-transfer-news-panzo-4454734) wrote about the defender’s future earlier this week, claiming that Swansea City, Coventry City and Dutch side Utrecht are all interested in the teenager.

Robins could be getting a superb defensive option in Panzo, who has had some wealthy experience in the [top divisions in Belgium and France](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jonathan-panzo/detaillierteleistungsdaten/spieler/392777), although other options may become available to the Coventry manager.

A move seems imminent for the youngster and it will be interesting to see whether he is lining out for the Sky Blues by the end of the transfer window.
