# Crystal Palace: Eagles eyeing Tommy Conway move

**[Crystal Palace](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/crystal-palace-news/) are interested in signing Bristol City forward Tommy Conway, according to [Football League World](https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/sources-crystal-palace-eyeing-double-transfer-raid-on-bristol-city/).**

### The Lowdown: Conway profiled

Conway is just 20 years of age and is currently enjoying a breakthrough campaign at Ashton Gate. The centre-forward has scored [seven](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/tommy-conway/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/801426) goals and registered [three](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/tommy-conway/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/801426) assists in 16 games in all competitions under Nigel Pearson.

The Scotland U21 international shares the same [agent](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/unique-sports-group/beraterfirma/berater/4142) as Palace defensive duo Marc Guehi and Tyrick Mitchell, and it looks as if a move to Selhurst Park is a possibility.

### The Latest: Palace interest

[Football League World](https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/sources-crystal-palace-eyeing-double-transfer-raid-on-bristol-city/) shared a transfer story on Thursday regarding Palace.

They claimed that Palace are considering a move for Conway and long-term target Antoine Semenyo, adding that the Eagles may look to sign Conway and loan him back to the Robins.

### The Verdict: Exciting

Conway appears to be going from strength to strength in the second tier and could be a star in the making.

Dougie Freedman, who recently signed a [new Palace deal](https://theathletic.com/3670414/2022/10/10/tottenham-google-real-madrid-gakpo/), has had recent success with signing young attacking players from the Championship, with Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise prime examples.

Therefore, a swoop for Conway, Semenyo or both could prove to be further smart signings by Freedman in the long run and potentially ones to watch heading into the New Year.
