# Crystal Palace: Fans can’t decide between Vicente Guaita and Gary Cahill for POTM

**Many Crystal Palace fans are currently stuck between two players for September’s Player of the Month award.**

It’s been an okay month for the Eagles, who currently have an impressive [11 points](https://www.premierleague.com/tables?co=1&se=210&ha=-1) from their opening seven games – only conceding [one goal at home](https://www.premierleague.com/tables?co=1&se=274&ha=H).

There have only been three games in the league in September due to the week missed because of the international break, resulting in [one loss, one draw and one win](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/crystal-palace/spielplan/verein/873), in that order.

It started with the Eagles getting dispatched by Spurs after they were completely ran over in the first half at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, resulting in Palace losing 4-0, but then improving as they drew 1-1 at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers, before winning on Saturday 2-0 against Norwich.

When the club’s Twitter account asked fans about who their player of the month was, many of the responses alluded to two individuals: [Vicente Guaita and new signing Gary Cahill](https://www.cpfc.co.uk/news/2019/october/vote-manbetx-crystal-palace-player-of-the-month-september/).

Guaita has been seen pulling off many good saves this month, while Cahill has [started every game for the Eagles](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/gary-cahill/leistungsdaten/spieler/27511), leading from the front in each – especially the latter game versus Norwich.

Here are some of the Palace fans’ responses to the potential Player of the Month.
