# Crystal Palace: Fans discuss possible move for Bournemouth’s Jordon Ibe

**Several Crystal Palace fans have been discussing the possibility of Bournemouth winger Jordon Ibe joining the club in the summer.**

The Eagles were interested in signing the 24-year-old last month, per [The Telegraph](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2020/01/08/mike-mcgraths-transfer-notebook-reece-james-ready-commit-future/), and according to the Daily Mirror ([via HITC](https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2020/02/11/15m-celtic-and-palace-target-reportedly-set-for-free-transfer-cl/)), he could be available for a free transfer in the summer when his contract expires.

It remains to be seen whether Palace are still interested, but fans are still discussing the possibility of signing him nevertheless. A couple of supporters even suggested that he could be a replacement for talisman Wilfried Zaha, which would be quite underwhelming.

He scored just one Premier League goal last season and averaged [1.4](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/105797/History/Jordon-Ibe) dribbles per game (via WhoScored). Zaha, on the other hand, scored 10 times while averaging [3.4](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/85059/History/Wilfried-Zaha) dribbles per game  — numbers Ibe cannot compete with.

> Free agent and low wages, I admit he hasn’t been great recently but he wouldn’t be that bad of a squad player.
