# Crystal Palace: Fans fume at Robbie Brady interest

**Crystal Palace and Celtic are just two sides who are thought to be interested in signing Robbie Brady this summer.**

And, as to be expected, a number of Eagles fans have been reacting to the transfer link on social media.

Burnley decided to [release Brady](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11708/12318461/robbie-brady-burnley-release-republic-of-ireland-international-winger), with the 29-year-old set to leave Turf Moor when his current contract expires next month.

[The Republic of Ireland international](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/robbie-brady/profil/spieler/128229) cost the Clarets [£13m when he joined from Norwich City back in 2017](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11708/12318461/robbie-brady-burnley-release-republic-of-ireland-international-winger), but he’ll be available for nothing over the coming months.

According to [The Mirror’s live transfer blog (27/05, 15:27pm)](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/transfer-news-live-arsenal-kane-24185977), Palace, Celtic, Southampton and Watford are all interested in Brady’s services.

He was thought to be on [£35,000-a-week](https://www.spotrac.com/epl/burnley-fc/payroll/) in Lancashire, and it seems he won’t have a shortage of potential destinations ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.

These Palace fans weren’t exactly thrilled at the links, with one describing it as a Sean Dyche signing after the [rumours regarding Dyche taking over at Selhurst Park](https://www.footballinsider247.com/cyrstal-palace-make-enquiry-to-burnley-over-dyce/).
