# Crystal Palace: Fans fume at shock transfer link to Bournemouth’s Jordon Ibe

**Loads of Crystal Palace fans have been left seething at the latest transfer news, as reports claim Jordon Ibe is now a shock target for the Selhurst Park outfit.**

Talk about a downgrade. Eagles fans were [going crazy](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/premier-league/crystal-palace/crystal-palace-fans-react-as-eagles-reportedly-agree-deal-to-sign-jarrod-bowen/) with excitement on Thursday when reports claimed they had agreed a [£16m](https://twitter.com/CraigHope_DM/status/1222896382589075460) fee plus add-ons to sign Jarrod Bowen, who has [16 league goals this season and 52 across the last three campaigns](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/322596/History/Jarrod-Bowen).

According to [The Sun](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/10861620/crystal-palace-transfer-bournemouth-jordon-ibe/) however, they have now turned their attention towards Bournemouth’s Ibe, who has struggled since his move from Liverpool, scoring just [three times](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/105797/History/Jordon-Ibe) in the league in the last four seasons, or 17 times less than Bowen. It would certainly be a shock for Palace to turn to a man with just [48 minutes of Premier League playing time](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/105797/Show/Jordon-Ibe) this term to solve their winger woes, and fans are understandably hating the latest links.
