# Crystal Palace: Fans go wild at Eberechi Eze update

**Crystal Palace man Eberechi Eze took to [Twitter](https://twitter.com/EbereEze10/status/1440020667026579458) on Monday evening to provide an update on his comeback from an Achilles injury.**

And, as to be expected, a number of Eagles fans were quick to reply to his post on social media.

Eze suffered a freak injury in training towards the end of last season, which, at first, some thought would keep him out until the [New Year](https://talksport.com/football/883225/crystal-palace-eberechi-eze-achilles-injury-2022/).

However, [reports](https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/crystal-palace-michael-olise-debut-eberechi-ez-injury-b951188.html) last month suggested that the 23-year-old is way ahead of schedule in regards to his rehabilitation, and it seems as if he has taken the next step on his return to the pitch.

Eze posted a [seven-second video](https://twitter.com/EbereEze10/status/1440020667026579458) of himself running freely at the club’s training ground, captioning the tweet with an hourglass emoji.

Palace then re-tweeted the attacking midfielder’s post, and it also led to a number of Palace supporters getting involved.
