# Crystal Palace: Fans hail Eze for off-field activity

**A number of Crystal Palace fans have been sharing their love for Eberechi Eze on social media after a story emerged on Twitter regarding the 22-year-old.**

Eze has been a regular under Roy Hodgson in an impressive first season in the top flight, [missing just two Premier League games](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/eberechi-eze/leistungsdaten/spieler/479999) to date in the current campaign.

[@GilesyL14](https://twitter.com/gilesyl14/status/1385306489301217280?s=21) shared a post on Eze on Thursday evening, where a Facebook user claimed the attacking midfielder has been quietly helping with foodbank drop-offs.

Eze, on [£30,000-a-week](https://www.spotrac.com/epl/crystal-palace/payroll/), has been dropping off hot meals to people in need on any Sunday he has available.

The story, which is available to view in full [here](https://twitter.com/gilesyl14/status/1385306489301217280?s=21), also added that Eze turned up to help out with a cracked windscreen after a ball hit his vehicle at Palace’s training ground.
