# Crystal Palace: Fans react as Nathan Collins is linked to the club

**Many Crystal Palace fans are reacting to the latest transfer rumours surrounding the club, which suggest that the South London side are interested in Nathan Collins.**

According to [The Sun](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/13830276/arsenal-nathan-collins-stoke-transfer-burnley/) and tweeted out by [@cpfc\_xtra](https://twitter.com/cpfc_xtra/status/1353289177983553538?s=20), fellow Premier League sides Burnley and Arsenal are also battling it out for Stoke’s [19-year-old](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/372724/Show/Nathan-Collins) defender. The Championship side will look for more than £10m but an offer in that range could seal the transfer. For now, Palace remain interested and are monitoring the situation. One fan called the player ‘highly-rated’.

The centre-back has featured 24 times in all competitions this campaign for the Potters ([WhoScored](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/372724/Show/Nathan-Collins)). He has looked very solid as he has managed one tackle, 1.3 interceptions and 2.5 clearances a game. He has also been a threat in attack as he has scored two goals and has one assist.

With the likes of Gary Cahill, Scott Dann, James Tomkins and Cheikhou Kouyaté all [30 years-old or older](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/crystal-palace/startseite/verein/873), signing Collins would be the ideal acquisition to bring some new blood in at the back.
