# Crystal Palace: Fans react following update on Roy Hodgson

**Many Crystal Palace fans are fuming after reading the latest report on Roy Hodgson and his future at the South London side.**

According to the [Daily Mai](https://t.co/kBMZmi4PJb?amp=1)l, via [@cpfc\_xtra](https://twitter.com/cpfc_xtra/status/1359191963963170827?s=20), the Eagles are still deciding whether to keep him at the end of this campaign. It is believed that budgetary constraints will impact any search for a new manager, whilst there is also a feeling among certain figures that extending Hodgson’s contract represents the club’s best option for next season.

Hodgson’s [contract](https://www.cpfc.co.uk/news/2020/march/roy-hodgson-signs-contract-extension-with-crystal-palace/) was due to run out at the end of last season, but the club extended it by a further year. Now, with only a few months left until that deal expires, his future has been getting discussed a lot in the [media](https://talksport.com/football/829103/roy-hodgson-crystal-palace-future/).

It is understandable to see Palace fans frustrated at the fact that Hodgson might stay. The Eagles’ form recently has been far from impressive. A Hodgson side is typically known for its stern defence, but this campaign, they have only managed [four](https://www.skysports.com/crystal-palace-results) clean sheets. They have also only won [three games](https://www.skysports.com/crystal-palace-results) in the last thirteen which further emphasises that the manager and his team have been struggling.

### Here is how these Palace fans reacted to this report:
