# Crystal Palace: Fans react to Ian Holloway speech

**Crystal Palace have angered some of their supporters after their official [Twitter](https://twitter.com/CPFC/status/1406900711850491906) account posted Ian Holloway’s famous speech ahead of their crucial 2012/13 fixture against [Peterborough United](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/22320597), from their new documentary [When Eagles Dare](https://www.cpfc.co.uk/news/2021/june/crystal-palaces-documentary-when-eagles-dare-everything-you-need-to-know-and-how-to-watch/).**

Still without a manager after the departure of [Roy Hodgson](https://www.cpfc.co.uk/news/2021/may/roy-hodgson-to-step-down-as-crystal-palace-manager/) last month, Palace face an enormous task to restructure their backroom and playing staff, having also released 22 first team players earlier in June following the publication of the Eagles’ retained list \[[The Sun](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/15169032/crystal-palace-release-twenty-two-players/)\].

Lucien Favre now seems to be the frontrunner for the vacant role in the Selhurst Park dugout \[[Inside Futbol](https://insidefutbol.com/2021/06/20/crystal-palace-settle-on-lucien-favre-as-pick-to-take-over/514114/)\], butno such announcement has come to pass as pre-season draws ever closer for the south Londoners.

Upon viewing yet another official club post without an announcement on managerial clarity, loads of Crystal Palace fans took to Twitter to vent their frustrations at the lack of white smoke on that front.
