# Crystal Palace: Fans react to Lorenzo Insigne rumours

**Crystal Palace and Wolves have been linked with a move for Napoli star Lorenzo Insigne by Turkish journalist [Ekrem Konur](https://twitter.com/Ekremkonur/status/1442431522678603777).**

And, as to be expected, a number of Eagles fans have been reacting to the rumours on social media.

According to [Konur](https://twitter.com/Ekremkonur/status/1442431522678603777), both Palace and Wolves are closely monitoring Insigne’s situation, with contract talks seemingly at a standstill with the Italian side.

The 30-year-old, valued at £43.2m by [Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/lorenzo-insigne/profil/spieler/133964), is into the final [12 months](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/lorenzo-insigne/profil/spieler/133964) of his Napoli deal.

The left-winger has contributed to [199](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/lorenzo-insigne/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/133964) goals in [404](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/lorenzo-insigne/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/133964) appearances for Napoli during his 11-year stay, but he could be free to discuss pre-contract terms in the New Year, should his situation remain the same.

Patrick Vieira is [short](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/crystal-palace/kader/verein/873) of out-and-out wide options at Selhurst Park, and it appears as if the [Euro 2020 winner](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/lorenzo-insigne/erfolge/spieler/133964) could be a target for the Eagles.
