# Crystal Palace: Fans react to Ruben Loftus-Cheek transfer links

**Crystal Palace are reportedly leading the chase for Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek, with the transfer update inevitably having plenty of Palace supporters talking on social media.**

According to a report from [TEAMtalk](https://www.teamtalk.com/news/exclusive-aston-villa-crystal-palace-set-sights-on-ruben-loftus-cheek), the Eagles are long-term admirers of the 25-year-old, with Aston Villa also in the mix.

Loftus-Cheek isn’t thought to be in Chelsea’s long-term plans, and even though his Stamford Bridge deal still has [more than three years left to run](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ruben-loftus-cheek/profil/spieler/202886), it seems as if a summer exit could be on the cards. [A spate of injuries](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ruben-loftus-cheek/verletzungen/spieler/202886) have not helped the England international to truly establish himself at the Blues.

The attacking midfielder has been a regular under Scott Parker at Fulham this season, making [28](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ruben-loftus-cheek/leistungsdaten/spieler/202886) appearances for the Cottagers in all competitions. Fulham [would like to keep Loftus-Cheek](https://www.teamtalk.com/news/exclusive-aston-villa-crystal-palace-set-sights-on-ruben-loftus-cheek) at Craven Cottage, but their chances of signing the Chelsea man depend on their [precarious](https://www.skysports.com/premier-league-table) Premier League status.
