# Crystal Palace: Fans react to Sky Sports transfer news

**Crystal Palace are still looking to sign another defender, a striker and a winger this summer, according to [Sky Sports](https://www.skysports.com/transfer-centre).**

And a number of Eagles fans have been reacting to the transfer update on social media.

The Eagles have now made Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher their [fifth](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/crystal-palace/transfers/verein/873) summer signing.

Gallagher had agreed terms with [Leeds](https://twitter.com/krishan_davis/status/1420722118887608327) and passed an Elland Road medical, however, Palace [reportedly](https://twitter.com/krishan_davis/status/1420722118887608327) persuaded him to stay in London at the last minute with a temporary move to Selhurst Park, which has now been [announced](https://twitter.com/CPFC/status/1421161545426509832).

[Sky Sports](https://www.skysports.com/transfer-centre) shared Palace’s talks with the Blues over a season-long loan deal for Gallagher on Thursday afternoon on their Transfer Centre ([July 29, 14:33](https://www.skysports.com/transfer-centre)).

Within their report, they claimed that Palace still want to add another defender, wide man and forward to their ranks before the window slams shut.
