Thauvin, who is on [£91,000-a-week](https://salarysport.com/football/player/florian-thauvin/) with Marseille, is [out of contract in the summer](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/florian-thauvin/profil/spieler/184892). He’s [scored eight goals and has registered seven assists in 29 Ligue 1 games this season](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/florian-thauvin/leistungsdaten/spieler/184892), playing all across the [front line](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/florian-thauvin/leistungsdaten/spieler/184892).

The versatile forward is valued at a whopping [£28.8m by Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/florian-thauvin/profil/spieler/184892), so a free transfer to Selhurst Park this summer could prove a real coup by the club.
