# Crystal Palace: Fans react to the latest update on Dragusin

**Many Crystal Palace fans are reacting to the latest update surrounding the possible transfer of Radu Dragusin, which suggests that the club might have to look elsewhere.**

According to [DigiSport](https://www.digisport.ro/), via [@CPFCtransfersHQ](https://twitter.com/CPFCtransfersHQ/status/1367525985051156482?s=20), Dragusin is signing a new contract at Juventus with his agent believing that the defender will be rewarded with a big pay rise.

The [6 ft 3](https://www.google.com/search?q=1.91m+in+feet&oq=1.91m+&aqs=chrome.0.0j69i57j0l6.1697j0j4&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8) centre-back is certainly a prospect with plenty of admirers in Turin, but has only played 22 minutes of football this season ([WhoScored](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/400097/Show/Radu-Dragusin)). However, with him only being 19 years-old, his lack of game-time is understandable, and the mere fact he is involved in the senior squad at such a big club suggests that he could be a serious player in the future.

He has four appearances for the U19 Romanian side ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/radu-dr%C4%83gu%C8%99in/profil/spieler/568559)) and he could be an ideal acquisition for Palace. It might be a risk due to his lack of football this campaign, but the Eagles have some issues at the club, one of these being a very [ageing defence.](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/crystal-palace/startseite/verein/873) It is starting to show too, as they have conceded the [third-most goals](https://www.sofascore.com/tournament/football/england/premier-league/17) in the division.

A revamp is needed at the back, and Dragusin could help start the rebuild, leaving these fans frustrated by the reports of a new deal at Juventus.
