# Crystal Palace: Fans react to the latest update on Ismaila Sarr

**Many Crystal Palace fans are reacting to the latest transfer news surrounding Championship winger Ismaila Sarr.**

According to [The Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/index.html), and tweeted out by [@cpfc\_xtra](https://twitter.com/cpfc_xtra/status/1344765788109103105?s=20), Watford are braced for fresh offers for Sarr amid Crystal Palace interest.

Crystal Palace were [linked](https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2020/10/15/report-crystal-palace-retain-interest-in-watfords-ismaila-sarr-deadline-day-offer-possible/) with the winger throughout the summer transfer window and it seems a January swoop is now on the radar – Sarr had not just attracted attention from the Eagles, but also from [Liverpool](https://talksport.com/football/763254/liverpool-watford-sign-ismaila-sarr/) as well.

The Senegalese attacker signed for Watford in [August 2019](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ismaila-sarr/transfers/spieler/410225), and impressed as he made 28 Premier League appearances last season. He managed five goals and four assists, per [WhoScored](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/322670/Show/Ismaila-Sarr), and also managed 1.6 shots and 1.7 successful dribbles per game.

To hit the ground running in England at such a young age makes him look like a special player and suggests that he has a lot of potential. Therefore, it could be a huge lift for Roy Hodgson to get a deal over the line.

Liverpool superstar Sadio Mane hailed Sarr when the youngster signed for Watford, [saying:](https://www.90min.com/posts/6439456-sadio-mane-heaps-praise-on-deadly-ismaila-sarr-following-his-move-to-watford) “I’m really happy for him and he made the right choice to come to Watford. For sure I think he will be great.”
