# Crystal Palace: Fans react to the transfer update on Michael Olise

**Many Crystal Palace fans are reacting to the latest transfer rumours around Championship attacker Michael Olise.**

According to a report from [The Sunday People](https://www.mirror.co.uk/all-about/sunday-people) which was tweeted out by [@cpfc\_xtra](https://twitter.com/cpfc_xtra/status/1340604905019551744?s=20), Palace are leading the race to sign Reading midfielder Michael Olise in January. Leeds United are also interested in the teenager.

One of Olise’s teammates, Sam Baldock, discussed the player earlier this year, as he [said](https://www.readingchronicle.co.uk/sport/18181789.reading-fcs-goal-scoring-hero-sam-baldock-full-praise-young-star-michael-olise/): “Michael is a real talent, he’ll get on the ball in any situation. He’s fearless.”

For someone to chat about an [19-year-old](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/371281/Show/Michael-Olise) in this way highlights the sheer potential that he has and this could be a real coup for Palace if they decide to make a move for the player now as he looks to be a player for the future.

The attacking midfielder looks to be enjoying his time at Reading this season. In his ten appearances in 2020/21, he has four goals and seven assists [(WhoScored)](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/371281/Show/Michael-Olise). He has also managed 1.4 shots, 1.7 key passes, and 1.1 successful dribbles a game.

### Here is what Palace fans had to say following the Olise news:
