# Crystal Palace: Fans share their ideal new striker choice

**Plenty of Crystal Palace fans on Twitter have suggested the attacker that they want to join the club in January.**

With the Eagles [short of goals](https://www.skysports.com/premier-league-table) in the Premier League, an attacker is surely well up there on Roy Hodgson’s Christmas wishlist for the second half of the campaign.

Fan account on Twitter [@PalaceEaglesc0m](https://twitter.com/PalaceEaglesc0m/status/1199669705826545669?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1199683818405421056&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fpublish.twitter.com%2F%3Fquery%3Dhttps%253A%252F%252Ftwitter.com%252Fsxp55555%252Fstatus%252F1199683818405421056%26widget%3DTweet) asked supporters which striker they want to join the club in January, referencing players Aleksandar Mitrovic, Olivier Giroud, Michy Batshuayi and Alfredo Morelos.

Only Watford have scored fewer goals in the Premier League than the south London club, with the red and blue scoring just [11](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/table) goals from their 13 games, with Jordan Ayew [grabbing four of them](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/162/Show/England-Crystal-Palace).

Considering that Ayew, Christian Benteke and Connor Wickham have not been prolific, rumours have been hotting up as we get closer to the transfer window.

Many fans responded to the tweet with their preference for a new attacker at Selhurst Park – check out some of the responses below…
