# Crystal Palace: Fans want Alfredo Morelos and Odsonne Edouard from SPL

**Many Crystal Palace fans have gotten behind the idea of the signing of Rangers’ Alfredo Morelos and Celtic’s Odsonne Edouard.**

Both are currently joint-second in the race for the SPL’s Golden Boot, with the pair[scoring nine times](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/scottish-premiership/top-scorers) in the league from their opening 12 matches.

The [Scottish Sun](https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/4962460/celtic-odsonne-edouard-crystal-palace-transfer-rangers-morelos/) have reported that both players are on Roy Hodgson’s radar as he looks to add more firepower to his attack at the Eagles.

It’s been a respectable start for Palace. Sitting in [12th](https://www.google.com/search?q=premier+league+table&oq=premier+league+table&aqs=chrome..69i57j69i59l2j35i39j0l2j69i60l2.1855j0j9&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#sie=lg;/g/11fj6snmjm;2;/m/02_tc;st;fp;1;;) in the Premier League, they are currently just two points off Sheffield United in fifth place, but currently, have a pretty poor goal difference of -6.

Despite only conceding 16 goals from 12 matches, they have only managed to score 10 – meaning they have huge problems in the goal department.

The report states that the Eagles have £50m in the purse to splash on new players after the sale of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, but Hodgson knows he has his work cut out to bring either to the club considering both are in the midst of a title fight and looking fairly-likely to push on into the knockout stages of the Europa League.
