# Crystal Palace: Fans want Yannick Bolasie back after reports suggest he is up for sale

**It has been reported by the [Daily Star](https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/everton-set-sell-yannick-bolasie-22006146)that former Crystal Palace star Yannick Bolasie will be allowed to leave Everton this summer and a lot of Eagles fans are hoping this means a reunion could be on the cards.**

According to the newspaper, Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti does not have the winger in his plans for next season, so not only is he available for a modest fee of £3m, the Toffees are actively looking to sell him.

The 30-year-old left Selhurst Park in 2016 for a fee of around [£26m](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/yannick-bolasie/transfers/spieler/75471) after having a great campaign at Palace, per [Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/yannick-bolasie/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/75471), as he managed on average 2.2 shots a game and 2.9 completed dribbles a game, via [WhoScored.](https://www.whoscored.com/PlayerComparison) This highlighted how dangerous he was offensively. He also managed to contribute with 30 assists across his 144 appearances at the club, as per [Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/yannick-bolasie/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/75471).

However his move never paid off after a [cruciate rupture injury](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/yannick-bolasie/verletzungen/spieler/75471) saw him miss 53 games for Everton and sidelined him for a year. He subsequently [struggled to get back into the team](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/69844/History/Yannick-Bolasie) and is now [on loan at Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/yannick-bolasie/transfers/spieler/75471).

Arguably it would be a risk for Palace to sign the player and even though some fans seem to be driven by sentiment, a return to Selhurst Park could be the perfect catalyst to reignite Bolasie’s career so he can end it on a high.

Here is what these Eagles fans had to say following the report:
