Crystal Palace have launched a €30m bid for Club Brugge attacking midfielder Christos Tzolis. Brugge value the 23-year old at €40m, having only signed the player last summer from Fortuna Dusseldorf.
Palace are on the market for forwards to replace Eberechi Eze who is linked heavily with a move to Tottenham. The Eagles have also shortlisted Leicester’s Bilal El Khannouss and Liverpool’s Harvey Elliot but as of now are pushing for the signing of Tzolis.
Tzolis has impressed in his first season in Belgium, scoring 21 goals and adding 14 assists in 56 matches in 2024/25. He has hit the ground running already this campaign, scoring three goals and adding two assists from seven appearances.
His performances have seen him already rewarded with fresh terms by Brugge, which now makes the deal difficult for Palace. Brugge are so far reluctant to sell their prized asset.
The Athletic has reported that Palace have already had one offer turned down for the player, but remain determined to push for the deal. The Eagles have held conversations with the player’s representatives.
Palace eyeing Tzolis as Eze replacement

Palace see the Greece international as the ideal Eze replacement for his pace and versatility. He can play anywhere across the front line and is known for his direct dribbling style and powerful finishing.
He is also is comfortable using either foot and is most effective when cutting inside from wide areas to create scoring chances. Like Eze, be can play either as a No.10 or as false nine as well as on the wing.
Tzolis would give Palace manager Oliver Glasner tactical flexibility aside from the loss of Eze. Palace are understood to want to bolster their squad ahead of their first foray in European football since 1998.
The Eagles get their UEFA Conference League campaign underway on Thursday when they face Norwegian side Fredrikstad.
