# Crystal Palace: Luka Milivojevic’s performance angers Eagles fans

**Crystal Palace faced up against Wolves at Molineux on Friday with a chance to go second in the league. The South London side put in a poor display however as they [lost](https://www.sofascore.com/crystal-palace-wolverhampton/dsh) 2-0, and one player who a lot of fans are slating is Luka Milivojevic.**

Roy Hodgson’s tactics of sitting back and allowing Wolves to dominate possession was their downfall as his side were [two goals down](https://www.sofascore.com/crystal-palace-wolverhampton/dsh) in the first [30](https://www.sofascore.com/crystal-palace-wolverhampton/dsh) minutes.

The 29 year-old central midfielder came back into the side last week following a James McArthur [injury](https://www.transfermarkt.com/james-mcarthur/profil/spieler/41416), and the manager backed him again against Wolves.

However, the Serbian highlighted why he has had to [settle](https://www.transfermarkt.com/luka-milivojevic/profil/spieler/74300) for a position on the bench as of late. He received a 6.7 rating and gave possession away ten times ([SofaScore](https://www.sofascore.com/crystal-palace-wolverhampton/dsh)). One fan went so far as to call him a ‘liability’, such was his carelessness with the ball.

With the Eagles only [playing](https://www.sofascore.com/crystal-palace-wolverhampton/dsh) with two midfielders, their central players needed to be at their best, and sadly for Palace, Milivojevic wasn’t. The captain then went and got himself [sent off](https://www.sofascore.com/crystal-palace-wolverhampton/dsh), furthering the frustration of the fans below.

### Palace fans react to Milivojevic display vs Wolves:

> If Roy had any bottle about him he’d pull luka off now. You can’t have a liability in the middle of the park, especially with only two centre mids! [#CPFC](https://twitter.com/hashtag/CPFC?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw)
