The Ivory Coast international played for Les Elephants in their dominant [3-1 win over DR Congo,](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/spielbericht/index/spielbericht/3267686) in which the forward was able to register one assist as well as grab himself a goal.

Zaha, who [attracted much interest from Arsenal](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48833308) (BBC) in the summer, set up Gunners signing Nicolas Pepe for his first in the match, before scoring the third in injury time. Pepe played a diagonal ball to Zaha, who used his classy dribbling to beat a number of players before making a pass back to his compatriot. With an open net at his disposal, he finished the fantastic goal with a classy back heel.

In the 95th-minute, Zaha was able to add to his own international tally, by putting the game beyond doubt with barely a minute to spare.

The Palace Twitter account tweeted the news of the performance, to which many fans responded below…
