Plenty of Crystal Palace fans have hit out at midfielder Luka Milivojevic on social media following his comments on manager Roy Hodgson.

The 29-year-old was talking with Premier League Productions about numerous topics, with Palace sharing a snippet of his praise for Hodgson on their official Twitter page.

Milivojevic made the move to Selhurst Park in January 2017 during Sam Allardyce’s time in charge of the Eagles in a deal worth £13.59m.

However, he’s spent most of his career with the club under the leadership of Roy Hodgson, making a total of 151 appearances for Palace to date.

The Serbian, who still has two years left to run on his Palace deal, has been an ever-present figure in Hodgson’s side this season, turning out on 26 occasions, scoring his only goal in last weekend’s win over West Brom.

Talking about Hodgson, relayed on the club's official website, the club captain said:

“For us, for me personally, I’m very proud to play under him. He’s a very good person, good manager - we know him very well. I’m very pleased honestly to have him here, he always tries to take the best from us and I’m very delighted that we have him.”
