Plenty of Crystal Palace fans have been reacting to an update on social media regarding the future of manager Roy Hodgson.
According to the Evening Standard, the Eagles are prepared to announce the 73-year-old’s departure earlier than expected so that fans can pay tribute to the manager at their final home game against Arsenal next week.
The report namechecks three managers who could possibly take over from Hodgson. Former Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is thought to be keen on a return to the dugout, with Burnley’s Sean Dyche and Swansea City’s Steve Cooper the others who were mentioned.
