A number of Crystal Palace fans were left unimpressed with Jordan Ayew for his performance against Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.
Roy Hodgson was taking charge of his final game as Palace boss and made two changes to the side which lost to Arsenal on Wednesday evening, with Ayew and Jairo Riedewald coming in for Christian Benteke and Jeffrey Schlupp respectively.
Palace headed into their final game of the season in 13th place, knowing they could finish as high as 12th or as low as 16th.
However, it was Ayew‘s anonymous display which had a number of fans talking online, and not for the right reasons. The 29-year-old making his 23rd start of the Premier League campaign and 35th appearance in all competitions.
Ayew wasn't involved going forward at Anfield, failing to complete a dribble, make a key pass or have a shot on target, as per SofaScore. Overall, his display was largely anonymous.
