Many Crystal Palace fans have been left slamming some comments made by Jamie O’Hara on Roy Hodgson.
Speaking on talkSPORT, the former Tottenham Hotspur and Wolves player now turned pundit claimed that the Eagles manager was ‘organised’ and that the Selhurst Park faithful will ‘never go down under him’.
Should Crystal Palace sack Hodgson?
He also added that the south London club do not need the ‘risk’ of bringing in a young coach to replace Hodgson, who turns 74 years of age in August.
Considering that CPFC have conceded no fewer than 42 goals in just 24 games in the Premier League so far in the 2020/21 term, the joint-second most in the division (BBC Sport), O’Hara’s comment that Hodgson is ‘organised’ seems like a strange one.
Although Palace are also 11 points clear of the drop zone at the moment, they are not guaranteed safety either, as 18th-placed Fulham also have a game in hand on them.
Crystal Palace fan reaction to Hodgson comments
These Palace supporters slammed the comments made on Hodgson by O’Hara on Twitter:
“Clearly hasn’t watched Palace play at all this season or the end of last. Our performances are pathetic, dire, shambolic etc. And even if we get points it’s one hell of a boring performance. No teams fans deserve to be going through what we have the past year. Media should notice”
“Classic lazy journalism…we’ve been awful at home for years…it’s our away form that’s kept us up…as for Roy I can only assume that Jamie doesn’t watch many of our games!!”
“I shut off at “he’s organised” obviously not been watching us much this season lad”
“Jamie O’Hara clearly doesn’t watch us play.”
“Another “expert” who hasn’t watched Palace and has absolutely no idea what he’s talking about. Zaha keeps us up. It really is that simple”
“Couldn’t be more wrong if he tried! Roy is terrible no patterns of play no goal threat none of selections or subs make sense. Sets up with the hope of not losing instead of setting up to try to win. Praying Roy is gone before next season starts or tomorrow would be better”
