# Crystal Palace: Romano drops latest on Aaron Wan-Bissaka

**Fabrizio Romano has shared what he knows on [Crystal Palace](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/crystal-palace-news/)‘s interest in former defender [Aaron Wan-Bissaka](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/tag/aaron-wan-bissaka/).**

### The Lowdown: Wan-Bissaka reunion rumours

It has become clear that the right-back will likely leave Manchester United in the near future, having fallen out of favour there, playing just [four](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/331924/Show/Aaron-Wan-Bissaka) minutes of Premier League action this season.

Palace have [stood out](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/crystal-palace-news/crystal-palace-premier-league-aaron-wan-bissaka-man-utd-transfer-news-updates/) as one of the favourites to sign Wan-Bissaka, who has already made [46 appearances](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/aaron-wan-bissaka/alletore/spieler/477758) for them of course, prior to moving to Old Trafford in 2019.

Now, Italian transfer guru Romano has shared what he knows on the situation, confirming the Eagles face a battle with two domestic rivals to get a deal done.

### The Latest: Romano’s update

Writing on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1604934045384712206?s=20&t=0Dt3RpLLrcii6ZgLKODAZQ) on Monday, Romano reported that Dougie Freedman and co. are keen on re-signing Wan-Bissaka, but Wolves and West Ham are also in the picture:

### The Verdict: Bring him back

Re-signing Wan-Bissaka, either in January or next summer, makes complete sense for Palace, considering his long-term links with the club and what a top-class player he looked for them before joining United.

His time in Manchester clearly hasn’t gone to plan but there is no shame in that, given the pressures of it, and it could be that a return to Selhurst Park is exactly what his career needs.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has [hailed](https://www.manutd.com/en/news/detail/solskjaer-praises-wan-bissaka-before-man-utd-v-liverpool-in-fa-cup-on-24-jan-2021) him as a ‘top top’ player in his position – and he could look a far happier, more settled player at the club where he initially made a name for himself.
