# Crystal Palace: Eagles looking at Rhys Norrington-Davies

**[Crystal Palace](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/crystal-palace-news/) are one of three sides looking at Sheffield United defender Rhys Norrington-Davies, according to [Pete O’Rourke](https://twitter.com/sportspeteo/status/1576902400518283264?s=46&t=c0bVyxni1QbCfpD6-B8Pmw).**

### The Lowdown: Norrington-Davies profiled

Norrington-Davies is 23 years of age and is [primarily](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/rhys-norrington-davies/profil/spieler/543164) a left-back who can also play further forward or as a centre-back.

The Wales international, who also holds Saudi Arabian [citizenship](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/rhys-norrington-davies/profil/spieler/543164) due to being born in Riyadh, has been with the Blades since [2017](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/rhys-norrington-davies/transfers/spieler/543164) after leaving Swansea as a teenager.

He enjoyed a breakthrough season at Bramall Lane last season after [loan spells](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/rhys-norrington-davies/transfers/spieler/543164) with Barrow, Rochdale, Luton Town and Stoke City, starting [every Championship game](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/rhys-norrington-davies/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/543164) so far in 2022/23.

### The Latest: Palace links

[O’Rourke](https://twitter.com/sportspeteo/status/1576902400518283264?s=46&t=c0bVyxni1QbCfpD6-B8Pmw) took to Twitter on Monday to share an update regarding Norrington-Davies.

### The Verdict: One to watch

Norrington-Davies has shown his versatility under Paul Heckingbottom, turning out as a centre-back and a left-midfielder in recent weeks.

You can see just why Steve Parish and co could be keen to make a move for the full-back, with [Tyrick Mitchell](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/crystal-palace/kader/verein/873) the only out-and-out senior left-back available to Patrick Vieira.

The Wales man would also be able to provide cover in other areas and will be entering the final 18 months of his Sheffield United [contract](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/rhys-norrington-davies/profil/spieler/543164) in the New Year, so a winter window swoop could be one to keep an eye on.
