# Crystal Palace: Fans react to transfer news on Ryan Fraser

**Bournemouth’s Ryan Fraser has been linked with various Premier League clubs and journalist Ed Malyon has provided an update on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/eaamalyon/status/1268186698787291136?s=20) saying that Crystal Palace are monitoring his situation, much to the excitement of many Eagles fans.**

The Scottish winger is out of [contract](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ryan-fraser/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/146795) in the summer as it stands, despite a superb 2018/19 season in which he managed seven goals and 14 assists, per [WhoScored,](https://www.whoscored.com/PlayerComparison) whilst averaging 1.3 shots and 2.4 key passes a game, as well as being fouled 1.8 times per match.

This led to him being linked to [Arsenal](https://www.football.london/arsenal-fc/transfer-news/ryan-fraser-to-arsenal-zaha-16328766) and more recently he has been [linked](https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1284319/Crystal-Palace-Tottenham-Ryan-Fraser-Transfer-Jose-Mourinho-News) to Tottenham as well as Crystal Palace.

Even though both Fraser and Bournemouth are having poor seasons, his [1.4 key passes](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/93160/Show/Ryan-Fraser) a game still ranks highest when you compare it with the [Eagles squad](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/162/Show/England-Crystal-Palace) (excluding Brandon Pierrick, who has only played on game) and it would add a much-needed eye for goal for a team which have scored the second fewest goals in the division this season, per [SofaScore](https://www.sofascore.com/tournament/football/england/premier-league/17).

Here is what these Palace fans have been saying about the club’s links with Fraser:

> Ryan Fraser one of those in a weird situation. Contract expires soon and he’s 99% certain to leave, so returning to play for Bournemouth in their survival bid could actually put his next contract -a career-defining contract- at risk.

> Would take him in a heartbeat. Difficult season but his ability to cut inside and beat players would work really well for us.
