Crystal Palace: Fans react to news that QPR reportedly reject £12 million offer for Eze

Crystal Palace are in desperate need to make some signings in the transfer window, not just to reduce the age of their squad which is the second oldest in the division, but also to add some attacking talent to the team as Wilfried Zaha still wants to leave.
Queens Park Rangers attacking star Eberechi Eze has been heavily linked with the South London side, and a lot of the fan base are reacting to the latest update from Sean Gallagher. The talkSPORT Senior Sports Writer has tweeted that: ‘QPR have turned down an opening offer from Crystal Palace for Ebere Eze’.
This has caused some debate with many Eagles fans, as some are desperate for the attacker to be signed quickly, whereas others are understanding that the club are trying to negotiate a deal so they do not get ripped off.
It is understandable to see why many want the player to sign as Eze has scored 14 goals and provided eight assists for Queens Park Rangers, which is very impressive for someone who is only 22, per WhoScored. He has also managed on average, 2.2 shots, 1.8 key passes and 2.3 successful dribbles per game.
This looks like the ideal type of signing for the club as they have lacked an attacking spark this season, scoring only 31 goals in the Premier League, which is the second fewest, per SofaScore.
Here is what they said following the latest update:
£12m? Hopefully this isn't where our interest ends. https://t.co/2qWh6Xdd1e

Just offer more money

For me that’s just disrespectful. I know you go in low on opening offer but it’s like offering 150k for a house on the market for 250…

WHAT IS WRONG WITH OUR CLUB

We’ll end up paying double that on transfer deadline day. Just pay now and get it done.

Well that’s the end of that .

In any business deal there you need to be serious at the table, otherwise no point in being there. Like I’ve said before if QPR want £17m, offer them a starting fee of £15/16m.
If Zaha was £70m and somebody came in with £35m we’d say the same and tell them to leave
